So the honest verdict is this: pay for speed and quiet if you dry thick hair daily and would notice minutes every morning. Do not pay for a promise nobody has shown you evidence for. And if what you want is a smooth finish rather than a fast dry, a hot-air brush is a different and much cheaper answer.
