When we get something wrong, we fix it clearly
Material corrections appear on the affected page with the date, the original problem, and what changed. We do not quietly rewrite significant errors.
How to submit a correction
Use the contact form with the reason “Correction”, include the page URL, and tell us what is wrong and how you know. Evidence helps.
How claims are reviewed
An editor not involved in the original piece checks the claim against testing notes, manufacturer documentation, and independent sources. If the correction stands, the page is updated and the change is logged.
Typos versus material corrections
Spelling and formatting fixes are made silently. Anything that affects a fact, a measurement, a price, a verdict, or a recommendation is a material correction and is logged on the page.
Where corrections appear
In the “Update and correction history” section of the affected review, guide, or article, and — for verdict changes — in a notice at the top of the page.
Verdict changes
When a verdict changes, the history entry says so, explains why, and records the previous verdict.
Response process
We review every submission. We do not promise a response time, because we would rather get it right than fast.
