What We Loved
They are lovely objects: the silicone is smooth, the colour is muted, the stitching is neat, and on a walk they look like a deliberate accessory. On the ankle for slow floor work there is a faint sense of added effort. They come in a nice box.
What Annoyed Us
On a brisk walk a pound on each wrist changes nothing we could feel after the first five minutes. The elastic and hook-and-loop, tight at the door, was sliding by the end of a warm mile. Under a sleeve they trap heat. The ankle position needs re-tightening every few minutes.
The Catch
They are priced and marketed as fitness kit and function as jewellery with a pound of steel in it. If you want to feel a walk more, a rucksack with a book in it does more; if you want resistance, bands or a kettlebell do more for less.

Performance
The weights are what the label says and the silicone has not marked or split. The strap slips with sweat every time. The added effort on a walk is slight and fades from notice. On the ankle for slow leg lifts they do more, and a plain ankle weight does the same.
