What We Loved
On medium-pile carpet with a dog, it pulled up an embarrassing amount after a competitor's pass. The laser head is a gimmick that turns out to be useful: you see the dust, so you keep going. Auto mode ramps power up on dirty patches and back down on clean ones, which stretches the battery.
What Annoyed Us
The weight and the trigger. Vacuuming a ceiling fan or the top of a bookcase is a forearm exercise, and there is no latch to keep it running. Max mode empties the battery fast.
The Catch
The battery is the consumable. Dyson makes it click-in replaceable, which is good, but it is proprietary, and you should plan on buying one within the vacuum's life.
