What We Loved
For the first month on a wooden kitchen chair it felt like a different chair. The cut-out at the back takes weight off the tailbone in a way a plain cushion does not, and the grippy base meant it never slid off when we stood up. It packs into a tote for long drives, where it earned its place on a nine-hour trip.
What Annoyed Us
By month four the back half was visibly thinner and the relief was milder. In a warm room the foam holds heat and you notice it. It also lifts you about two inches, which put one tester's knees against the desk underside.
The Catch
All memory foam does this; the cushion is not unusual, just honest about its limits. The manufacturer's replacement promise is the answer, but it means dealing with a claim rather than a cushion that lasts.

Performance
Early on it is very good. Pressure goes off the tailbone and onto the thighs, which is what a cut-out cushion is meant to do. The decline is slow rather than sudden. The gel cushion we compared it to stayed cooler but gave less support; the Purple stayed springier for longer but is bulkier.

Put it on the chair. The cover zips off and survived the washing machine twice without shrinking. The carry handle is a nice touch for travel.

A black wedge with a U cut-out. The velour cover looks smart for a week, then shows lint. Nobody will compliment it.
