What We Loved
The texture is unusual: watery with a little slip, like a very thin oil that is not oily. A few drops on a cotton pad or fingertips cover the face and it is gone into the skin before you have capped the bottle, so the moisturiser goes on straight after without any pilling. The packaging is a plain white bottle with a lot of small print and no promises in large type, which after years of shouting labels we found oddly reassuring. It has no smell.
What Annoyed Us
Nightly use for the first week was too much for one of us; the cheeks felt warm and looked pink in the mirror until we backed off to alternate nights, which is what the label suggests anyway. The flip-cap opening pours rather than drips and we wasted plenty learning to tip it gently. The tingle on application never fully went away for the more sensitive tester.
The Catch
