What We Loved
The idea is right: a weekly grid on the fridge that everyone sees. The surface erases cleanly when wiped the same day and the grid does not fade. It is light, it cost very little, and for the first week, with one child's swimming and one dentist appointment on it, it looked like it might work. A shopping list fits along the bottom edge.
What Annoyed Us
The boxes are so small that a school week with two kids' activities becomes a scrawl of abbreviations nobody can read. The magnetic backing is thin; every hard door close nudged it downward and it ended up on the floor twice. The marker clip broke in the first week and the marker has been loose since. After a fortnight of not wiping, ghost writing stayed behind.
The Catch
Size. Doubling the dimensions would make it useful; as it is, the layout promises a family planner and delivers a single person's memo pad. Larger magnetic weekly boards cost a little more and are the right purchase.

Performance
It erases and it sticks, weakly. As a planner for more than one person it fails on space alone. The marker supplied is a standard chisel tip, too fat for the boxes; a fine-tip helps and still does not make it a family board.
