What We Loved
Six months on a key ring and it has ended the morning key hunt: press the button in the app and the thing shrieks from under a cushion two rooms away. It works from an iPhone and from an Android phone in the same household, which neither Apple's nor Samsung's tags manage. The battery is a coin cell you can change, and the body has survived being dropped, sat on and rained on.
What Annoyed Us
On the road it is less convincing. Attached to a checked bag on five flights, it showed a fresh location at three airports and stale ones at two. That may be fine, or it may mean nobody with the app walked past. The app pushes a subscription for the alerts we most wanted, and the free tier is thin.
The Catch
We could not verify the finding network well enough to rate this as a luggage tracker, and the manufacturer's range figures do not tell you how many phones are relaying. Buy it for keys, where it is excellent; do not rely on it to find a bag in a foreign airport.

Performance
Ring volume is the standout. Bluetooth range in the house covered every room. Away from home, updates were inconsistent in a way we could not attribute. The battery reads full after six months.

Ease of use
Set up in the Life360 app, which now houses Tile. The tracker screen is simple; the surrounding app is not. Ring from the app or double-press the tag to ring your phone.

A thick black rectangle with a hole for a ring. It is chunkier than an AirTag and needs no case.
