What We Loved
For the first six weeks it was the jacket everyone commented on. The denim is a decent weight, the shape is right, and on a dry November afternoon over a hoodie it was warm and easy. The chest pockets hold a phone and the hand pockets are lined with the sherpa, which is a nice touch on a cold morning.
What Annoyed Us
By January the sherpa around the collar, where it rubs a neck and a scarf, had matted flat and gone grey. The cuffs followed. A cold wash and a gentle brush did nothing. The collar came out of that wash stiff and has stayed that way. And the medium fits like a large; the wearer went down a size on the second try and it was still roomy.
The Catch
It is a jacket that photographs beautifully at purchase and looks tired by spring. The lining is the reason to buy a sherpa trucker, and this one does not hold up.

Performance
Warmth is good on still days and poor in wind; the denim is not a windbreak. The lining degrades quickly. The denim shell itself is fine and would last years.
