What We Loved
In a bright room, recording locally, the detail is impressive; you can read the spines on the bookshelf behind you. The 90-degree view fits two people at a kitchen table. The infrared logon on a Windows machine is genuinely convenient, and it was the reason one of us kept it as long as we did.
What Annoyed Us
Plugged in and left alone, faces look crunchy and slightly blue. Fixing that means installing Logitech's software and turning down sharpness and adjusting white balance, and those settings sometimes reset. On a call, colleagues could not tell it from the C920S. The clip mount is a two-piece affair that tips forward on thin monitors.
The Catch
Resolution is not the bottleneck on video calls; compression and light are. A 1080p camera with a light in front of you beats a 4K camera without one, and the 4K here does not survive the trip through any meeting app we used.

Performance
Focus is quick. HDR helps with a bright window behind. Sharpness at default is too high and it shows on skin. With tuning it is very good; without it, it is worse than a cheaper camera. 1080p at 60 fps is smooth if your app supports it.

Plug and play for basic use; software for anything else. The field-of-view switch is in the app only.
Design and build quality
A flat black rectangle with a detachable clip that never quite sits flat. It looks more serious than the C920S and mounts worse.
Privacy and connectivity
Works without an app. The included clip-on privacy cover is a separate plastic piece that is easy to lose. Logitech's software is optional but practically needed for a good picture.

Value
