What We Loved
A year of near-daily salads and it is the most-used object in the cupboard. Wash the greens in the basket, drop it in the bowl, pump five or six times and the lettuce is dry enough for dressing to cling. The brake button stops the spin dead so you are not waiting for it to coast. The flat lid means you can stack things on it, and the non-slip base stays put on a wet counter. We also use the bowl on its own for tossing and the basket as a colander.
What Annoyed Us
It is the size of a small bucket and needs a dedicated shelf. If you close the lid while it is wet, the gasket holds a spoonful of water that you discover next time. The lid is not really dishwasher friendly despite what it can survive, and it needs to be pulled apart to dry properly.

Performance
The pump gets up to speed quickly and holds it, and greens come out dry rather than damp. Herbs and berries go in without bruising if you spin gently. Compared with the pull-cord type there is nothing to snag or wear, and the crank models we have used were slower and needed two hands.
