What We Loved
For the price it is a real desk light that sits where a lamp would not. On a bright setting it is fine, lights the keyboard, and the auto-dim brought it down at night without prompting. The clip fit both our monitors without fuss and the cable reached a monitor USB port.
What Annoyed Us
Turn it down to a comfortable evening level and the LEDs flicker; you see it in the corner of your eye and it shows on camera. One of the three units we bought did not do it, two did. The beam is not shaped to stop at the screen edge, so the top inch of the display glows. The touch controls need two or three taps.
The Catch
We could not recommend something that flickers on two out of three units. It may be a batch issue, it may be the design; either way we retired it after three months and went back to the BenQ.

Performance
At high brightness it is acceptable. At low brightness the dimming method produces a visible flicker on two units. The beam spills onto the screen enough to notice on a dark background. Auto-dim works in a coarse way.
