What We Loved
Two along the front walk, staked in a minute, and the first night they glowed softly and brightened as we walked up. With a bridge borrowed from a Ring-owning friend they appeared in the app, set a schedule, and lit up when the doorbell saw motion. The hardware feels better than most solar stakes.
What Annoyed Us
Without the bridge, they are two ordinary solar lights with a good sensor. Our path is half shaded and by the third overcast day they were dim by bedtime and off before dawn. The bridge is a separate purchase, and the app is another account to maintain for a walkway.
The Catch
You are buying into a system. If you are already in it, they slot in nicely; if not, you are paying Ring prices for a solar light that needs a bridge and a sunny spot to be more than that.
