What We Loved
Out of the box, handle unfolded, one bag of spring fertilizer set on the number printed on the bag, and the lawn was done in ten minutes. The edge guard lever blocks the right side so the sidewalk and the flower bed did not get a dose of lawn feed. It hangs on a nail in the garage. The pattern was even enough that there were no stripes when the grass greened up.
What Annoyed Us
The frame twists when you push it over a bump and the hopper needs refilling twice for our modest lawn. The wheels squeaked from the second use. The agitator in the hopper is a plastic pin that looks like it will be the first thing to go.
The Catch
It is a small, light-duty tool, and what it costs drifts a long way through the year. Buying it in the middle of the busy season means paying the most for a plastic frame; timing the purchase is the main trick.
