What We Loved
Our test dog, a strong forty-pound mutt, walked like a different animal the first time the leash clipped to the chest. When she pulls, the loop tightens and she pivots toward you, and the pulling loses its point. Seven months on it still works and our shoulders are grateful. The buckles are quick and the whole thing weighs nothing.
What Annoyed Us
Every few walks the belly strap has crept a notch looser and the chest strap has dropped toward the legs, and then the effect fades and the chafing starts. The colour-coded straps help, but you have to keep checking. It also does nothing when the dog is not pulling, so it never teaches a loose leash.
The Catch
If the chest clip slides to one side, the harness becomes an ordinary one and the pulling comes back. Check it before every walk. It is a management tool, not a training programme.

Performance
It cuts pulling more than the Ruffwear's front loop and with less fuss than a head halter, which the dog hated. The price of that is fit drift; when it sits right it is excellent, when it slips it is nothing.
