What We Loved
We keep it in a garage that has had mice. In a year the mice have not got in and the kibble at the bottom of the bin still smells fresh at the end of a bag. The lid gasket seals with a satisfying resistance, and the container walls are thick enough to stand on. It has been knocked over by a dog and by a bicycle and shows a scuff, nothing more.
What Annoyed Us
Unscrewing a lid twice a day is a small tax you feel every day. The measuring cup that comes with it is flimsy. And a bag that says 50 lb of a large-kibble food left a few cups that would not fit under the lid.
The Catch
Pour the bag in. Storing the whole bag inside the bin, as people do, means the gasket is sealing air around a bag that is itself open, and the freshness benefit is mostly lost.

Performance
The seal is the product, and it holds. A flip-top bin we used before let kibble go stale and let a mouse in; this one has done neither. The plastic does not take on food smell and wipes clean between bags.

The screw lid needs a full turn and a half, which is the only awkward part. The handle moulded into the base helps when tipping to scoop the last cups.
